The day I first dreamed about over two years ago has finally came true.

This morning on Live with Regis and Kelly, said this would be his “last year on this show.”

Philbin, who is just two years shy of hitting his 30-year anniversary on the program, gave no specific reason for deciding to retire now.

“It's been a long time," he explained. "It's been 28 years since I’ve been here and it was the biggest thrill of my life to come back to New York, where I grew up as a kid watching TV in the early days, you know -- never even dreaming that I would one day have the ability, or whatever it takes, to get in front of the camera and talk to it.”

Snooki recently appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman to read one of the host’s Top 10 lists.

The topic on deck? Her new book, of course.

At least with the power of Letterman’s writers behind her, the Snooks is actually funny. Check out the video to hear the list.

Based on the ratings from last night's premiere episode, fans of The Bachelor aren't particularly interested in seeing Brad Womack for a second time. But how would those same viewers feel if the gentleman in question was Perez Hilton?

On last night's broadcast of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the celebrity blogger got his own chance to look for love ... and an an opportunity to get close to host Chris Harrison.

I don't know about you -- but I would definitely be interested in watching this version of the aging show.

Fans of both Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Kimmel might have noticed something unusual on their broadcasts recently: similar sketches.

Two weeks ago, Jimmy Kimmel Live was first to air a mashup of Sarah Palin's Alaska with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. (Watch the video after the jump.) That clip was unfortunately followed up two weeks later by a Conan sketch that closely resembed the first.

In response to the snafu, O'Brien issued an apology to the competition -- and made other revelations -- in the message above.

Dr. Drew Pinsky

Dr. Drew Pinsky is branching out to another cable show. The Celebrity Rehab star and Loveline host will soon have his own series on CNN’s HLN network, the "news and views" channel.

Beginning in the spring season of 2011, Dr. Drew will begin hosting a show where he talks about current headlines and events. The series will debut shortly after the fourth season of Drew’s Celebrity Rehab wraps on VH1.

HLN vice president Scot Safon says Pinsky is “an ideal fit” for the network. “Dr. Drew will shed light, provide crucial information and give viewers something to talk -- and think -- about,” he said.

Dr. Drew is excited about the project. "I'm looking forward to becoming part of the HLN family and digging deep to bring out the stories behind the stories that people are talking about,” he recently told CNN.

James FrancoBravo’s interview series Inside the Actors Studio recently had to turn people away during the James Franco appearance.

The staff rejected a record-breaking number of people who wanted to attend the taping.

All tickets sold out for the interview, which will air on Bravo next month. A source said the actor stayed behind to talk to the fans who bought tickets.

Female screams also peppered Franco’s interview.

According to a report, host James Lipton at one point stopped to say “17 years filming this show, and I’ve never heard a sound like that before.”
